By consuming large quantities of unhealthy food. 4 Klondike bars, two large cheeseburgers, two bratwurst sammiches, crap ton of sweet potato chips, two italian ices, 3 iced coffees. And enjoyd driving around on uncrowded roads. But now I am trying to finish a drawing that will be a wedding gift while listening to some David Bowie. Sounds like freedom to me!

Saturday BBQ at my brothers, low key just hang out.

Sunday hang out with wife’s sister & her family. Kids played well together. BIL Blew up some things.

Tonight low key at our house, had steaks bbq. Airing for dark to light the remainder of the sparklers I bought yesterday.

Here’s my boy Sam 3 lighting his own sparkler from a tiki torch I cut to the kids level. I think the kids had more fun being able to light their own ( under close supervision of adults )

The Jeep contract is a very sad tale. American Bantam won the design, but rumors spread that they weren’t large enough to keep up with the production deemed necessary by the Government, so Bantam was paid for the design and told to GTFAC while Willys was awarded the delivery contract and Ford was hired to fulfill extra orders. Meanwhile, Bantam was relegated to making utility trailers for the Jeeps, and they went defunct in 1956.
